Following the development of fully compostable PLA (polylactic acid) containers, Sacar has finally obtained the coveted “OK Compost Industrial” Certification issued by TÜV, Europe’s leading certification body in the fields of quality, energy, environment, safety and product.
It was a very complex process that lasted over a year and required time and numerous resources.
This is the latest in a series of actions undertaken by the company since 2010 in the area of sustainability and respect for the environment.
It is a prestigious award that makes Sacar even more authoritative in the industry.
